DESCRIPTION OF THE CONCERT:

Energizing and uncompromising group NeoKlez" - the announcements of their concerts usually start with these words. After the success of the albums "Pięć stron świata" / “Five directions of the world” and "Manowce" / ”Back Roads”, the artists have been travelling around Poland and Europe, presenting their own mischievous and energetic view on music. Their compositions are characterized by irregular metre, syncopations and combining traditional sound with elements of contemporary popular music such as drum'n'bass, electro, jazz, funk, rock. Each concert is a huge dose of klezmer-Balkan sounds.
 

INFORMATION ABOUT THE ARTISTS:  

NeoKlez band, in addition to performances at the largest festivals in Poland, also presented abroad, including Belgium, Germany, Hungary, and was invited to festivals in the USA and Finland. The group has appeared on the radio and television many times. They have already played nearly 350 concerts throughout the whole country and Europe. On the special order from five nationwide radio stations, the band NeoKlez created music for the audio series "Filip" by Leopold Tyrmand directed by Krzysztof Czeczot. The most outstanding actors of the Polish scene took part in the super-production: Paweł Królikowski, Antoni Pawlicki, Włodzimierz Press, Jacek Braciak, Cezary Żak, Izabela Kuna, Olga Bołądź, Antoni Królikowski, Anna Próchniak, Józef Pawłowski and many others.

"Votum Separatum" is the title of the band's latest album, which was premiered in March 2020. The record contains a musical proposal different from the previous ones and is a proof of a strong change in the course of the group's development, which has been going on for ten years. During this time, the band cooperated with the leading music and film artists. Thanks to these experiences, NeoKlez's artistic work has constantly evolved, and today it can be safely said that the band has created their own definition of music in which there are no barriers. The folk base known from previous albums is still strongly noticeable, though it has been varied with many contemporary accents and voices of such vocalists as Czesław Mozil, Włodek "Paprodziad" Dembowski or Jarecki.
